THE LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT FORUM is a development series targeting managers, directors and executives. The first session consists of determining the content for the remaining sessions as well as establishing an effective learning environment. This ensures that the chosen topics will have the greatest impact on participants' performance. This advanced series provides a continuous improvement opportunity. In addition to participants choosing specific content areas, they may also choose to participate in the delivery of those areas giving them the opportunity to improve their professional presentation skills. The ongoing series provides participants the opportunity to practice and report on skills learned in previous sessions.
FOUNDATIONS OF MANAGEMENT, typically the first in a series of Management Training courses, this program/course provides a broad overview of management, leadership and organizational concepts. These concepts establish a base of knowledge and common language that provides a consistent framework within the organization and lays the groundwork for future management development. Course objectives are to:
- Provide an overview of key managerial concepts.
- Understand the why's and how's of creating high-performance teams.
- Identify individual leadership styles, strengths and areas for development.
- Develop observation and interpretation skills.
- Increase awareness of the importance of ownership and accountability.
- Identify the characteristics/competencies of a high-performance manager.
- Target individual areas of managerial development and create an action plan.
MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES - MANAGING PEOPLE, PROCESS AND PERFORMANCE This series provides developmental tools that build fundamental and comprehensive management skills. It is divided into a series of one-day courses that are scheduled 2-4 weeks apart. This allows for practical application of the material between each course.
The purpose of the Management Strategies series is to help individuals and groups increase their productivity and ability to manage themselves, other people, processes, and performance within a challenging work environment. The series provides a systematic process and a common language participants can use to better understand their own behavior and that of the people around them.
COMPETENCIES FOR THE SUCCESSFUL LEADER INCLUDE:

LEADER/MANAGEMENT COMPETENCIES - AN INDIVIDUAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT This series is a process designed to assess the strengths and areas of development for your chosen management group. Participants gain insight into their own skills with the help of a 360º assessment tool. They can then compare their perception of their skills with the feedback they receive from supervisors, peers and direct reports. As a group, the process builds mutual understanding and also provides important insight into the dynamics and needs of your organization.
